Hi, I’m Tiphereth.

I come from a big family, and I grew up watching my parents work hard for everything we had. When they finally bought their own home, I saw something that has stayed with me ever since. The house was supposed to be the reward. Instead, the mortgage became a weight that sat on the whole household. The stress of it touched everything.

That never sat right with me. Your biggest purchase, the thing that is supposed to give your family security, should not be the thing that keeps you up at night.

Why I built this

Somewhere along the way I learned that in Canada, there is a legal way to make your mortgage work differently. A way to turn interest you are already paying into something that can give back, and to build toward real wealth while you pay your home down.

The strategy is real and it is powerful. But I kept running into the same problem. The people doing it were tracking everything in messy spreadsheets, hoping their records would hold up if the taxman ever came knocking. And the people who wanted to start felt overwhelmed before they even began.

I am a mom running a household. I know what it is to stretch a dollar and to plan around a budget that does not leave much room. I also know that we were not put here just to work, pay bills, and hope there is a little left over for a vacation someday. Money is supposed to grow for you, not only pass through your hands on its way to the next bill.

So I built Opes Ledger. It is a tool for Canadians who are running this strategy, or want to, and who want to do it well. Clean records. Clear numbers. Something you can hand to your accountant with confidence, instead of a shoebox of statements every April.

What I believe
